The Deerfield Valley is a really great place to vacation. At least I'm told it is. I rarely leave the lake. But I've hiked Haystack, done the Bromley slide, and seen some of the sights. Here are some links and pictures to give you an idea of what there is to do around there.

- Site about “Mount Snow Valley,” which is what the American Ski Company would
like to call the Valley, notwithstanding the fact that’s it’s been the Deerfield
Valley for two hundred years. The site’s kind of thin, as if they posted only
those attractions which paid for membership.

- The Moover is the town bus system, which doesn’t serve the lake, but it’s a
good source for info on area destinations

Other Miscellaneous Advice:
Make sure to eat at the Wahoo Eatery in Wilmington, climb Mount Haystack, do the Bromley slide from 10 to 1 on a weekday (special ticket, small lines), buy your syrup in gallons at a family roadside stand, refrigerate after opening or it will mold, boil it and skim off the mold if that happens, and you'll have a great time.
